Tartu Ülikoolis toimusid biotehnoloogia tutvustavad praktikumid 10.c tehnoloogiasuuna õpilastele ning 10.b huvilistele. Esimesel praktikumipäeval tutvuti geenitehnoloogia töövõtetega, teisel aga vere immunoloogiaga (sh määrati enese veregrupp) ning bakterite õhukülvi ja söötmel kasvatamisega.
